Ishmael Beah の“A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier”という本を読んでみた。

Thanks to Thomas and Akiko at LoDown for sending me the new issue #56. There was a really good interview in there with a photographer called Chris Jordan...supergood. Anyway looking at Chis' pictures they are very obviously influenced by the German photographer Andreas Gursky (Chris said so too in his interview). Andreas Gursky's most famous, and my one of my favorite photos, is called "99 cent store" - a 99 cent store is like our Japanese 100Yen store- duh! (laughs)...Sorry, anyway, reading the Chris Jordan brought that image back into my head so I thought I'd blog it! Enjoy.
If you want to see more of Andreas Gurksy's photographs you can see them on the MOMA exhibition site here.
Also take a look at Chis Jordan's work here.
Stay FAT : )
